自在自为 Being In-Itself Being For-Itself

“自在”与“自为”作为黑格尔哲学体系中重要的学术语言，阐释了包括思维在内的整个世界从低级到高级、存在到本质的阶段特征及发展规律。“自在”即潜在，表现为存在的客观性，其内在的差别及理想形态并未被主体所发掘；“自为”是实践、是存在的实证，是潜伏的矛盾相互斗争、内在的差别得以显现。从自在到自为实则是一个由虚无到真实，由表面之象到深刻本质的过程。

同样，绘画也存在一个从在到为的验证逻辑。从绘画的行为本身到个体精神通过绘画而有所表达，“自在”与“自为”发展轨迹同样在艺术家身上得到反馈。本次参展的四位艺术家：陈波、朗雪波、唐骁、詹蕤不论是工作还是生活，都有着近似的经历。他们在艺术机构或学院中任职，同时从事着个人创作。相对平静而稳定的工作环境使他们能够以更为轻松的心态和节奏来面对自己的艺术。陈波的花园和肖像，以再处理的方式宣泄着一代人的精神记忆；朗雪波的电影画面和路障，以截然相反的图示隐晦的探讨着极端权力与社会秩序的关系；唐骁的用绘画建筑，使画面与空间在相互侵蚀中达到有机共生；詹蕤的创作不追求效率，而是在践行一种等待，他基于时间的绘画总是显现出一种冷静与均质感。

“自在／自为”将展出陈波、朗雪波、唐骁、詹蕤近几年的部分作品。这些作品既作为四位艺术家现阶段创作状态的呈现，也集中反映了他们在不同的层面上自在而自为的反馈着对于自身周遭事物的观察和体验，并直达事物本质。

As important academic languages in the Hegelian philosophical system, "freedom" and "self action" explain the characteristics and developmental laws of the entire world, including thinking, from low to high, from existence to essence. Freedom "refers to potential, manifested as the objectivity of existence, and its inherent differences and ideal forms have not been explored by the subject; Self action "is practice, empirical evidence of existence, and the manifestation of hidden contradictions and internal differences. From being free to being true is a process from nothingness to reality, from superficial appearances to profound essence.

Similarly, painting also has a verification logic from being to being. From the behavior of painting itself to the expression of individual spirit through painting, the development trajectory of "freedom" and "self action" also receives feedback from the artist. The four artists participating in this exhibition, Chen Bo, Lang Xuebo, Tang Xiao, and Zhan Rui, have similar experiences in both work and life. They hold positions in art institutions or colleges, while also engaging in personal creation. A relatively calm and stable work environment enables them to face their art with a more relaxed mindset and rhythm. Chen Bo's garden and portrait, in a way of reprocessing, release the spiritual memory of a generation; Lang Xuebo's movie scenes and roadblocks, with contrasting illustrations, subtly explore the relationship between extreme power and social order; Tang Xiao's use of painting in architecture creates an organic symbiosis between images and space through mutual erosion; Zhan Rui's creations do not pursue efficiency, but rather practice a kind of waiting. His paintings based on time always show a sense of calmness and homogeneity.

Freedom/Self action "will showcase some of the works of Chen Bo, Lang Xuebo, Tang Xiao, and Zhan Rui in recent years. These works not only present the current creative state of the four artists, but also reflect their free and independent feedback on their observations and experiences of things around them at different levels, and directly reach the essence of things.
